Well, another busy day. This week is transfers and we've been working with getting departing missionaries all over the place and it’s just a really... great experience. We took them all to the art market this morning and I bought some really sweet paintings. Pretty good price too. But, to this week...

We have been doing work! We had 5 really good investigators come to church this Sunday. Our Liberian friends came to church; the brother came with them too. We went over to celebrate the mother’s birthday Saturday night. They have a great fellowship too. It was so cool, they are some great people. They are really progressing.

Now to my favorite experience for the week. We are teaching one man named Fred. He was a referral and is super cool. He isn't the really the golden investigator but he is sweet. Wednesday we got to teach him and it was so cool. We had a really good lesson about prayer and receiving answers to our prayers. Then at the end of the lesson we asked him to pray and he didn't want to but then he said he would if I would help him. So I helped him pray just like the primary kids where I told him the words to say and he said it. It was one of the most spiritual experiences on my mission. I was just a simple short pray but it was so powerful. He has so much humility to ask me to help him pray. Man, it was really cool. After he was wiping away the tears as we left. I know he knows it is true. It's just going to take him a little time to come around.

Sorry I have no time with all that's going on. Gotta go. Made my birthday cheesecake last night and shared it with the apartment. LOVED EVERY BITE! Man, I love cheesecake!

Love you all!

Hey everyone,                (March 10, 2014)

Well, I was just about to send this letter and I deleted it so I get to write twice. Awesome. This week was pretty cool. Very busy. We were out doing stuff everyday. Tuesday we went to a district council meeting and went on exchanges with some of the missionaries there. Wednesday we had to deliver some bikes to some elders. Thursday we had MLC which is when all the Zone Leaders and AP's get together and talk about everything with the Pres Hill. Friday we had Office Council meeting and Saturday we had an Open House.

Yep Dad, driving in Ghana is pretty crazy. The city has a ton of traffic and I'm not used to driving in traffic especially when there are absolutely no rules whatsoever. The round a bouts are the worst. They are nuts. The city was 5 main roads that go through it and they all end at one big round a bout and it gets a lot of traffic. You have to get so so close to cars or you will never go anywhere. I haven't gotten this close to cars ever before. Its pretty cool though. You get to be crazy just like every teenagers dream! switching lanes, honking like crazy, doin whatever. Its pretty cool. We have to be careful because the police don't pull anyone over for anything except for white people. The Wall's said when they came they got pulled over 2 or 3 times a week. We haven't yet though, maybe we've just going to fast ;) I love driving though. Its nice.

And to Hannah teaching Muslims is a really dicey issue. They do have some big challenges with that. They are supposed to get a special interview before being taught and for sure before being baptized. We meet different types. Most are harmless and not to radical. One even told us the Islam and Christianity are coming together to form "Chrislam." That was weird. Others are like one guy we were teaching in Oda who's brother would come and beat him pretty good after every time we stopped by. So we just try not to teach them too much.

We did have a few cool experiences this week. The one day I actually got to do my studies(we don't get to study most days, I just get up early to get mine in) I felt like I needed to really think about the ways that the Book of Mormon has blessed my life and then yesterday we were teaching some guy and he looked at me and asked me exactly how the Book of Mormon has affected me. It so cool how the spirit can prepare us for things days in advance. It was a pretty cool experience. I'm also trying to do March Madness with some of the guys in my apartment. We're trying to read the whole Book of Mormon this month. I'm so far behind...

We're also teaching some really cool Liberians. Funny how I just came from the camp and I'm still teaching liberians. They came to church on Sunday and loved it. They were getting all active and asking questions. It was really cool.

Welp, have a great week. Love you all!

Love,

Elder Clark
