Hey everyone,

Well this week was another great week. We had some progress on the running water situation. On Saturday the church and some members in the military came and filled the poly tanks that hold the water so we can have some water until they get around to hooking us up to the city water. But we can't use them because one of the sinks is on in the other apartment and whenever we turn on the pump water goes everywhere in the other apartment so we can't use is until the landlord comes and turns off that water. So we continue to draw water every morning.  I really quite enjoy it for some reason.

I hope that you all got to see the pictures of us when Brother Hofman came up. I randomly got a text this week and it said they were coming to see the big tree the next day and he wanted to take us out to dinner or lunch.  I was pretty excited to see him and spend a little time with him talking about life. I was asking him some questions about back home and he said since he was released he had no idea. Sounds like me.  We went and enjoyed some nice fufu.
Well we had some great adventures and experiences this week. The chapel flooded one day so I got all wet trying to find a valve to shut off the water.  We were the only ones there and opened the doors to find a couple inches of water on the ground. Good thing everything is tiled.

We taught some really sweet guys this week. One night I was asleep and I got a call from a new guy.  He contacted us last week and asked if he could ask me a question through a text.  I got a text then asking me why America ruled the world.  I said I don't know then he asked me why we should worship God and some other things.  We talked for a bit and I bore my testimony to him through a text then he called back and said he wants to join the church.  He came to church this week which was sweet.  We taught another lesson, was super good and the spirit was really strong, Not something that happens very often, and after he said that he was praying to find the true church. It was the typical missionary story but it was so cool and felt so great. We saw him on the road this morning and talked for a bit. We taught another man that is a diamond and gold buyer, we taught him about why we believe Jesus Christ is the son of God. It was the first time I've done that.  It was pretty cool.

So the work is going forward. We were out finding yesterday after church and we found a totally new area that I didn't even know existed.  We talked to a lot of people. It was pretty fun. Elder R. is great. He works hard and never complains. We have fun and we quote lines from the movie Sahara all the time.  I don't know why. We also started a bucket list. Naming a new thing for the list is part of our planning session every night.
That's about it for the week.
I love you all,

Elder Clark
